As humans, the birth of a child is arguably one of the most remarkable experiences that we get to witness.
Some women describe the experience to be sweet-sour, and some don’t even have the words to describe it. Others call it a miracle! a seemingly frequent occurrence that stays extraordinary.
It is a testament that there must be a master planner who has taken His sweet time, to sum up the perfect process of pregnancy and birth into 9 months.
That moment when a new mum gets to hold her child, just basking in the aura that comes with the arrival of her bundle of Joy, is the very point when every pain she endures fades away slowly. All the cravings, the extra weight she gained, the nights she could not sleep, and the days she couldn’t keep anything down, everything now left in the past, becoming a beautiful memory and testimony. Indeed he made all things beautiful in His time
His time, His way, His will… that is where true beauty lies
Isa 55 vs 8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
The time from conception till birth cannot be likened to the time it takes a farmer to harvest what he planted-even the seasons vary for different plants.
This is also the same for us.
No two individuals have the same journey. They may look similar, Yes! But if you look closely, you will see that we do not run the same race.
It is tempting to compare our process with others and forget that we are each designed uniquely so that we can meet specific needs…diverse yet important.
The sun and the moon are two great lights with completely distinct duties, with each one dazzling in its time. The sun rules the day and the moon waits patiently for night time, when it would shine undisturbed- sitting majestically in the glittering night sky.
Anyone can mock the moon for not shining in the day, but by twilight, it slowly creeps into position and rules in its territory- the time and space Lord has appointed for it.

When we wait, we wait on God. Holding on to His every word and believing entirely in His promises.
Waiting may not be easy. We may experience stress and discomfort like the pregnant woman, but no woman is pregnant forever.
That season will pass. But before it does, faithfully do what you have in your hands right now and remember that He is a God who keeps His promises
The beauty in our wait will be that we believe in the one who makes all things beautiful in His time, and like the moon, we will wait patiently for His time- the perfect time for us to shine.
