SPONSORED BY THE SPIRIT
As we begin to round off the series on the Holy Spirit, I sincerely hope that these will not be mere words that you read, but that you will get to experience the One whom we have been given to walk with us on this Journey called life and it opens you up to a consciousness of the things that are available to us by the Spirit of God.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed me to…
Luke 4 vs 18
These were the words of Jesus and it explains the whole theme of this series. We can only ‘do’ anything effectively in this kingdom by the Spirit. And it was evident in the three powerful years that He walked here on earth. People wondered who He was, how He was able to live as He did – some even called Him names because they could not explain the sort of man that He was.
This is how Jesus lived. Everything He did—He did by the Spirit. From healing the sick to teaching with authority, from discerning hearts to enduring the cross; He was Spirit-led, Spirit-filled, and Spirit-empowered.
That’s what the Holy Spirit does for us and this must be our model.
There are things you will never be able to do in the logical, natural, or human sense. The call of God on your life isn’t meant to be fulfilled in your own strength. You can be intelligent, educated, well-connected, but the true advantage comes by the Spirit.
Another powerful example is the transformation that happened to Peter after the Holy Spirit had come upon them in the upper room. He moved from one who denied Jesus with so much fear and trembling to one who was ready to die for the Faith that he professed.
Now see the things that we read about Peter.

The Holy Spirit is how we walk into divine assignments with power and clarity. He is how we operate in realms and possibilities beyond our natural capacity. He is how we perform the vision God has placed in our hearts.
There must be something extraordinary about your life because you have the Holy Spirit. You are not just a regular person going through the motions. You are sponsored by the Spirit of the Living God to do the things He has purposed for you to do.
We Serve God By His Spirit

“ However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”
John 16:13-14
It is only through the Holy Spirit that we can truly serve God, ensuring that our actions are not merely those we devise in our own minds.
We are guided on the path to genuinely glorifying God with the help of His Spirit, as only He understands the Father’s heart regarding us at any given moment. Attempting to serve the Lord through human calculations and efforts will ultimately lead to disappointment.

The Holy Spirit empowers us to walk in discernment and clarity. He leads us into all truth- including about God and how we ought to respond to His love.
We are not meant to fulfill the purposes of God without the assistance of His Spirit. When we allow the Spirit of God to guide us, we begin to align our desires with His, and He accompanies us on our journey.
We serve God’s People By The Spirit of God…
Human nature tends to be inherently selfish. However, only those whom the Spirit of God guides, can transcend this selfishness and truly serve God’s purposes in the lives of others.
Genuine compassion for those who remain in darkness and a sincere desire to see them welcomed into the light of God’s kingdom can only be nurtured through the Holy Spirit.
We can effectively serve God’s people through the Spirit by utilizing gifts such as prophecy, words of knowledge, and words of wisdom. The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth and
teaches us how to navigate various situations
Jesus referred to the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of Truth (John 14:26), assuring us that He would teach us all things and remind us of Jesus’ teachings. In a world often shrouded in confusion, we have access to this divine clarity, and not just for us- for other people. The Holy Spirit not only guides our actions but also works alongside us to accomplish God’s will. He is our Helper, Teacher, and Guide.

As stated in John 14:26 (KJV), “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things.” The Holy Spirit will instruct us on how to love others and provide us with timely words of encouragement. He helps us view others through His perspective and meet their needs in ways that are uniquely suited to us. Just as Jesus performed many miracles out of compassion for the people, the Holy Spirit seeks to cultivate that same compassion within us.
In loving God’s people, we ultimately demonstrate our love for God.
