THE FATHER’S WILL, OUR HIGHEST SATISFACTION.

The Will of God can sometimes feel uncomfortable, and this makes many people see God as a wicked boss somewhere who only thinks of Himself and only wants to force “His Will” and desires on us.

I don’t believe this, and I will tell you why

The decisions and instructions of God come from an eternal perspective.

He sees those things that we do not see and He knows the things that we do not know.

He sees the implications of every decision on a generation and not just on us as individuals, which explains why His Ways are different from ours. This is also why we may never fully understand many of His instructions for our lives.

If a manufacturer creates a pen, only this manufacturer can tell you the true use of that pen and its cap, because he knows what he made and why.

The primary function of the cap is to cover the tip of the pen when not in use to prevent it from drying out. Although it may seem uncomfortable when put together initially, along the line, the cap sits comfortably on the pen.

We all are God’s creatures, which means He is “like” our own manufacturer.

God’s will, God’s desire, and God’s plan may seem selfish, but they are actually God-centered, and if we know this God, then we know that because He loves us, His ultimate plans are for us to attain the highest possible version of ourselves.

If He says in Jeremiah 29:11 that “He alone   knows the plans that He has for us, plans to bring us prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future we hope for”, then it is our duty to believe Him.

His interests far outweigh whatever plans we may have for ourselves because He loves us, and His will is our fulfillment because He knows us.

The cap of a pen can function in so many other ways, but ultimately, it will never have as much fulfillment as it would when it shields the tip of a pen.

Every product delivers its best when used according to the original design of its manufacturer, and just like the pen and its cap, God’s plan for us will always be the best fit for us.
