BEFORE HE FORMED US.

One thing about the vision or purpose that God gives us is that it is tailored to us,
unique to each of our individuality and essence.

God sees us, and He knows us better than we will ever know ourselves, And this is
exactly what He told the Prophet Jeremiah.

“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set
you apart ” Jeremiah 1 vs 5
.

The most intriguing part is that He says this not just to Jeremiah, but to every one of
us.
Before I formed you, I knew you.

First, this makes me understand that we existed and had a relationship with God
before we ever had a bodily form, He didn’t stop there…He also has predetermined
what we will be based on precisely, who He knows us to be, which is who we truly
are.

He knows us, completely and entirely without a single detail of our lives hidden from
him.

He knew us before we had a form and created a being for which He already had plans.
We did not magically take shape before He started to think of what kind of
assignment to give to us.

He knows all of our talents, gifts, and even weaknesses, He put them there.

He knew that Apostle Paul was a man who would run with whatever he believed
strongly in, a man whose convictions would always fuel his actions. If we take a
closer look at his life, we see that the tasks God called him to do perfectly fit his
nature. Only a man with such drive and passion could help bring about significant
change through the power of the gospel among the Gentiles as Apostle Paul did, even
amidst so many trials.

Although it is okay sometimes to feel unqualified because, by our strength alone, we
cannot do much.

The awareness of our incompetence should come with a confidence that is born out of
complete trust that God knows what He is doing with our lives.

If He has placed certain desires and visions in our hearts, it is because He knows what
He put inside us, what we are capable of, and what our entire life will be all about.

“You saw me before I was born
Every day of my life was recorded in your book
Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed”.
     “Psalm 139 vs 16”

This is not saying we become puffed in our abilities, instead, we should desire to
know what God knows about us, and why He chose to give us those assignments.
If we are to do the things He has called us to do, then we must truly see ourselves
through His lens.
